Mitigation Banking

What is Mitigation Banking?

Mitigation banking turns the right acres back into functioning wetlands or streams, then measures that ecological lift as “credits” under a Corps- and state-approved plan. As the site hits monitoring milestones, credits are released and can be sold to projects that must offset permitted impacts. Prices vary by basin and credit type, but markets commonly run from tens of thousands to several hundred thousand dollars per credit, with tight coastal areas sometimes higher. We focus on finding viable sites, securing approvals, building the restoration, and tracking performance so the result is real habitat improvement and a clear path to credit sales.

No Cost to Landowners

We help landowners with low-lying fields, floodplain, ditched ground, or eroding creeks by assessing the property, laying out options, and taking care of permits and long-term care while you keep ownership or work out a sale or revenue share. The result is healthier water and habitat, and a new income stream built on real restoration. This is all done at no cost to the landowner and you can often still hunt and fish the improved lands.
